ANDUZE

Also known as “La Porte de Cévennes”, the town of Anduze is a charming little town that exudes happiness.

Beautiful monuments for heritage enthusiasts, hiking trails, magnificent landscapes and even a small steam train that takes you through the valley...

The beauty of Anduze and its surroundings owes much to its isolation from the big cities, but with easy access, even without a car.

You can join the Facebook group Anduze Jazz Dancers, that we created so you can easily find people with whom share the travel, the accommodation, a hiking, a meal, etc.

Getting from one point to another in Anduze

Anduze is a small village: in half an hour you have covered it. Twice.

Dance studios, concerts and restaurants are less than 5 minutes from each other on foot. No sweat!

Camp sites are about 25 minutes walk from the festival.

But if you want to save your feet (we know how much you’ll need them), we  have a solution for you: bike.

If you are coming to Anduze by car, bringing your bike or scooter is a great idea.

Otherwise, there are some bicycle rental spots in Anduze and its surroundings, such as Sentiers Vagabonds, Cévennes Bike Tour, camping site Les Fauvettes and Gîtes et Chambre d’Hôtes de Labahou Anduze en Cévennes.

Accommodation

Anduze is a village of 3000 inhabitants: accommodation fills up quickly, especially in summer.

Do not panic! Within a radius of 10 minutes by car there are many beautiful places to sleep: hotels, airbnb, lodges, campings.

Here’s a list of the closest campings, with a useful map.

We recommend you to book your accommodation as soon as you decide to participate to the camp.

Your accommodation has spare beds? Are you looking for a place to share with other participants? See you on the Facebook group Anduze Jazz Dancers !

Food

At Anduze’s center there are many restaurants, several grocery stores as well as a big supermarket (Super U) within 5 minutes away on foot.

However Anduze is a countryside village: not all restaurants propose vegan food, and most kitchens stop serving at around 2pm and at around 10pm.

Jazzoparc will host food trucks on the site of the concerts during the evening. There’ll be something for all tastes and diets!
